Kathy Ligon, MD is board certified in internal medicine and hospice and palliative medicine and holds a Masters degree in Eastern Medicine. She completed her HPM fellowship training at the Institute for Palliative Medicine at San Diego Hospice. She is a co-author of Hospice and Palliative Medicine Handbook: A Clinical Guide, published in 2017. She was a Palliative Consultant and Hospice Medical Director for over 5 years at Presbyterian Healthcare Systems in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is currently the Director of Supportive and Palliative Care at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center in Irving, Texas.
